Today is Delaney's 15th birthday and not long after I woke up she came into my bedroom wearing her surf hood asking to go surf because according to the surf report there should have been some 1ft waves to play around on. 

Two days of waves and lake surfing sure makes me wonder why I don't live somewhere I can surf, even if its not well, all the time (I suppose my surfing would be better if I could do it all the time).

With summer creeping to a close, I have made the mental note to soak up as much time in the water as possible before the warm weather and warm(ish) water slip away for the year.
