With 4th of July comes friends, cookouts, fireworks and this year film. I polished off a roll of film during the 4th festivities and decided to share because I just love all the people in these pictures so much!
This time last year my family set off on a little road trip to Colorado to see The Head and the Heart at Red Rocks Amphitheater.
One of my favorite bloggers is the ultimate beach babe Rebekah Steen, the lady behind Goldfishkiss.com. She recently posted a mood board she made and it inspired me to make my own!
I have some really cool, really creative friends. One of these rad friends, Madelyn, is off living her best life in New York, but when she makes her way back to Wisconsin we always make sure to have a little photo fun!
Here's some film shots from Spring break in the Keys this year. Mostly I took pictures of the sunsets but theres a few cute ones of people too!
I love street art. I love stumbling upon a beautiful work of art in the middle of a city when you aren't expecting it, be it on the side of a building, painted on a utilities box, or painted on the remnants of a historical site.
It's cold today. Like really cold. Like 16 degrees fahrenheit with a real feel of 3 degrees cold. And it looks like it is going to stay really cold, and maybe snowy, during the coming week.
My dad has some cool friends and his cool friends have some cool toys. While in Colorado this summer, I inherited an old school GoPro Hero. So old school, that it is a film camera.
After my enjoyment snapping pictures on disposable cameras, I decided to scope out a film camera. Lucky for me, a friend had one I could have, a Canon Sure Shot Telemax.
I have this tendency to forget about things that make me happy. Today though, I spent the majority of the day rediscovering one of those things-painting.
I got a new film camera for Christmas, a Canon AE-1, and my recent trip to London was my first time putting it to the test. Let's just put it out there right away, there has been a bit of a learning curve needed.
