BOOKS Posts
When quarantine came around I figured it was a good time to sit down with a book or two or a few. Reading turned out to be a nice escape from the world when it started to feel heavy. Today’s list is the 7 books I’ve worked my way through over the last couple of months! The majority are fiction with a couple of adventure based memoir style books thrown into the mix!
I picked up Get Out Of Your Own Way by Dave Hollis the day it was released and started it right then and there. It’s actually the first book I finished this year! Now that I've got one under my belt it’s been feeling easier to keep the reading going.
A fairly common goal on people’s list of resolutions for a new year is to read more. It was one of my 2019 goals- 2 books a month. Yes, that’s 24 books total. I didn’t quite make that goal, but I made a pretty good dent! I figured I’d share the books that I read throughout 2019 as a way help you craft your list of what to read in the new year!
Today's Rad Reads is for those who are interested in business, the environment, the fashion industry and it's social impacts or just interested in taking a look into a major company that is working to do all sorts of good.

Alright ladies, if you are doubting your power, if you have a dream, big or small, but are too scared to take the first leap, then this one is for you!
I set a goal this year to read 2 books a month, 24 books this year. With that goal, I decided why not start a little series here on the blog where I can share some of the rad books I read over the course of this year.
Today’s Rad Read is Some Like It Cold by William Povletich! Some Like It Cold is a story of 2 Great Lakes surfers who became major influences in not only their own community but also the surf community as a whole!
