Just A Few Thoughts
I have a ridiculous amount of notes on my phone... like somewhere around 150 of them. I have a lot of things floating around my head at any given time and any time one of those things feels like something I should remember or expand on it gets jotted into the notes. Sometimes it's to do lists, sometimes it's quotes I like or ideas I have. Sometimes it's ideas I want to turn into posts to share here.
Sometimes the ones I want to share here are brief or incomplete. Sometimes they don't quite warrant their own post which brings us here. I figured why not share some of these shorter and imperfect thoughts. So, here they are- just a few thoughts.
I am a people pleaser. I've learned that that means I'm hard on myself when trying to coordinate plans or an event. I want everyone to be happy. News flash: Someone will always have a problem. You can’t please everyone. Just do what you gotta do.
My favorite color is one that I haven't quite figured out the perfect words to describe. It's the pale shade of blue that Lake Michigan or the ocean turns at golden hour. It is a soft pastel blue that I have yet to be able to accurately capture on camera. It's a shade of blue that is almost always accompanied by a pastel, rainbow sky. It's a shade of blue that makes me feel calm, happy, content. If I could, I would bottle up a little bit of that blue so that I could keep it in my pocket for a rainy day.
I like to think that I am pretty decent at packing, be it for a weekend away or 3 months in the tropics. That being said, there are a few things I always forget to pack and it’s not your standard razor or toothpaste. The top of the list? A hairbrush and nail clippers. Some how they never make it onto the packing list or into my bag. I also have found that I have always packed a sad excuse for a first aid kit. My last big adventure certainly helped me realize what should actually be in it, so I think it’s safe to say that the first aid kit will be an improvement, now lets just see if the hairbrush and nail clippers make it too.
I really don't know much about astrology, personality types and all that fun stuff, but I do know that it is pretty crazy how accurate they seem. I am a Pisces and I am an Enneagram 2. Anything I read about any of the personality traits and characteristics all seem incredibly fitting. Like in all honesty, I feel like I am a picture perfect example of a Pisces.
So, there we have it. Just a handful of brief thoughts that are finally getting to make it out into the world!
