And Keep On Going
“I like to sing happy songs, crochet, eat, play cards and keep on going.”
Those words, along with a watercolor of an olive tree, hang on my wall on the back of the card from my great grandmas funeral. They’ve hung on my wall since I was in high school, even coming along to college with me. I remember reading the words and finding them sweet and whimsical, but being exceptionally drawn to the last bit- “and keep on going.”
The words are always hanging right on the wall, but sometimes they pull my attention a little extra, recently being one of those times. I decided why not share the little nugget of wisdom with you all because I think we can all use the reminder sometimes. It’s important to put one foot in front of the other, keep moving and grooving and just keep on going through this life of ours.
So in case you needed it today here’s a little reminder from me and from Granny V: drink some water, take a deep breath, do the things that you enjoy and make you happy and keep on going.
